Hello! We’re Demi and Rob.
We have a simple goal: Provide a community space that is centered around books and other media.
We feel that we can help downtown Carson City grow and evolve into and even more vibrant and worthwhile stop for locals and visitors alike!
There are plenty of reasons to visit our historic downtown. Whether that’s stopping at one of the fantastic food joints, grabbing a morning or afternoon coffee, booking an evening of wine tasting, or perusing a few of the shops for gems or antiques, there’s a bit of everything — almost.
Even with all the amazing small businesses that currently populate our downtown area, we noticed that it was lacking something that our neighboring cities and towns have: A bookstore!
Our vision for our business is more than “just” a bookstore. We want to provide and create a space where you can not only buy new books for yourself or others, but also be a place where you’re welcome to simply exist.
We welcome you (once we’re open!) to come in and relax.
Read a book. Write that novel you’ve always wanted to start. Sketch a stranger. Or simply just sit and hangout with us.
We want our bookstore to feel like it is as much yours, as it is ours, because we couldn’t exist without you!
